Zigmachem® DDP solutions are Ideal for the treatment of mild steel and other ferrous metals before painting or powder coating applications. It is based on specialty chemicals, cold process based, premium quality 3 in 1 solution performs triple action, of de- greasing, de-rusting and phosphating. Zigmachem® DDP Solution :

Product Code : 1500


Product description : Zigmachem® DDP solution (1500) based on specialty chemicals, it is a cold process based, premium quality solution. It has 3 in 1 action, that is de- greasing, de-rusting and phosphating. The metal surface treated shows a thin layer of phosphating that acts as a corrosion inhibitor for 24 – 48 hours. It also acts as an excellent adhesion promoter for the subsequent coats. Ideal for treatment of mild steel and other ferrous metals before painting or powder coating.

Recommended for treatment of large or irregularly shaped components which are difficult to treat by normal dipping process. Steel structures, furniture, grills, equipment, small fittings, angles, automobiles, cycles parts, small articles, fan blades, etc.,

SHELF LIFE : Up to 12 months from month of manufacture. (As long as containers are sealed, kept under cover in dry place under normal temperature).
STANDARD PACKING : 20 Liter & 5 Liter.

Zigmachem® DDP solution (1500) is a ready to use solution, but depending on the extend of grease, rust, etc., on the metal surface, it can be diluted with water in the proportion of 1:1 to 1:3 by volume.

Spraying : Spray the solution on the metal surface generously . Allow the solution to act on the surface for around 10 – 15 minutes, then wipe with dry cotton. If there is still some residual rust, repeat the process again.
(* Note : Use of Plastic Spray Guns Only.)
Brushing : Apply the solution very thoroughly on the surface to be treated by brush, cotton waste or glass wool. Allow the solution to act on the surface for 5 – 10 minutes, then wipe with dry cotton. If there is still some residual rust, repeat the process.
Dipping : Take a suitable glass, hard rubber or polyester-lined tank for dipping purpose. Take the solution in the tank, and immerse the article in the tank for about 15 -20 minutes. Take out the article and allow them to dry and then finally wipe with dry cotton. Change the tank solution after few operations depending on the solution concentration.
Tumbling : Pour the solution inside, close the lid / cap and roll it for 5 – 10 minutes, drain out the material and allow to dry, wipe with dry cotton.

Product description : Zigmachem® DDP solution (1510) An economical cold process based chemical formulation. Performs triple action, of de- greasing, de-rusting and phosphating. The metal surface treated with 3 in 1 makes the surface free from oil, grease, rust and forms a chemically converted protective phosphate coating. This coating good adhesion to the subsequent paint or powder coating film applied along with better under-film corrosion resistance and gives durable coating life.
